Andy Faraj

Background & Experience:

Andy Faraj is a Property Accountant with experience in public audit, private audit, and non-for profit (NPO) audit, working in Big 4 and one of the largest NPO audit practices in Alberta. Andy also has experience in public external reporting at the world’s largest auctioning company for heavy equipment, as well as NPO external reporting at a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing homelessness and poverty. Now at NAI Advent, Andy has in-depth breadth in IFRS, US GAAP, ASPE, and ASNPO in both external audit and external reporting.

Prior to starting his accounting career, Andy has worked has a Sales Associate, Dishwasher & Cook, Nanny, and Financial Literacy Coordinator & Content Developer. His volunteer experience includes Best Buddy, Campus Ambassador, Peer Learner, Tutor, Committee Member, and Micro-Mentor.

Education:

Andy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Mount Royal University (MRU), and has completed all the required CPA exams, successfully writing the Common Final Examination (CFE) in September 2023.
